Terms of Service
Last updated September 25, 2026 · Route A2B, Kansas City, MO
These terms are an agreement between you and Route A2B (“Route A2B”, “we”) covering the Route A2B website and apps (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to them. If you use the Platform for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
1. What Route A2B is
Route A2B is a technology platform that connects businesses that need local deliveries with independent drivers who perform them. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Route A2B. Route A2B coordinates, prices and tracks deliveries and processes payment; it does not itself transport goods.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Business accounts may add team members. The account admin is responsible for what team members book.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, present a safety risk, or fail to pay.
3. Booking and pricing (customers)
- The price shown before you confirm is the price you pay for that delivery as described, plus any wait time, cancellation fee or change you approve later. Estimates shown before sign-in are ranges, not quotes.
- Card accounts: we place a hold when you book and charge after delivery. Invoiced accounts are billed on the schedule in your account.
- Cancellation is free until a driver is on the way. After that, a cancellation fee applies as shown to you before you confirm the cancellation; most of it goes to the driver for their time and travel.
- You are responsible for accurate addresses, contacts, package details and access instructions, and for making sure what you send is legal to ship, properly packed and not hazardous.
4. What we don’t carry
No hazardous materials, illegal items, cash, firearms, live animals, or anything requiring a permit we don’t hold. Regulated items (for example, prescriptions and clinical specimens) may be booked only by businesses authorized to ship them and are delivered only by drivers approved for that category. Never put patient information in delivery notes.
5. Loss, damage and claims
Report loss or damage within 48 hours of delivery through the delivery page or support@routea2b.com, with photos. Unless a higher declared value was agreed in writing before pickup, Route A2B’s liability for any delivery is limited to the lesser of the item’s documented value and $100. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, closures, incorrect information you provided, or events outside our control.
6. Drivers
Drivers use the Platform under the separate Independent Contractor Agreement and related documents they sign in the driver app, which control if there is any conflict with these terms. Drivers choose when to go online and which offers to accept, supply their own vehicle and insurance, and are paid the amount shown on each offer.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Platform: no scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with other users, contacting drivers or receivers outside the delivery, or using Route A2B for anything unlawful. Tracking links are for the sender and receiver of that delivery only.
8. Disputes
We’ll try to resolve any dispute with you informally first: email support@routea2b.com. Any dispute not resolved that way is governed by Missouri law and brought in the state or federal courts in Jackson County, Missouri, except that drivers’ disputes follow the arbitration terms in their agreement (which they can opt out of).
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and for material changes we’ll notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the change.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
